Founded in 1983 the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach is part of the global network of Rotary International and has grown to more than 130 members who dedicate themselves to fulfilling Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”. As part of our commitment to service, we proudly host the annual Mineral City Celebration. The Ponte Vedra Beach Rotary Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit through which the club provides financial support to dozens of local charities. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Mineral City Celebration benefit the foundation, which then distributes the funds to dozens of local charities through a rigorous application process. The foundation has distributed $1.5 million to Beaches-area non-profits that make a valuable contribution to the lives of local residents.

This year we are honoring Deane Beman, former PGA Tour Commissioner, with our “Rock of the Community Award” for his vision and impact on our community. To honor him, a major beneficiary this year is his charity of choice - Vision Is Priceless.

Our Mineral City Celebration remains an important charitable event that strengthens our community. We appreciate the support of the community in making the event a success year after year.

About Rotary International

Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.

Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary members have been people of action, applying our passion, energy, and intelligence to sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.

What makes us different?
Our distinct point of view and approach gives us unique advantages:

  • We see differently. Our multidisciplinary perspective helps us see challenges in unique ways.

  • We think differently. We apply leadership and expertise to social issues – and find unique solutions.

  • We act responsibly. Our passion and perseverance create lasting change.

  • We make a difference at home and around the world. Our members can be found in your community and across the globe.

How did we get here?
We’ve been making history and bringing our world closer together for more than 110 years.  Since forming in 1905, we’ve taken on some of the world’s toughest challenges, helping a wide range of international and service organizations – from the United Nations and Easter Seals to Rotary’s END POLIO NOW campaign – to get started.
